Jill is a Southern Ontario native, who was born and raised in Burlington, and later settled in Guelph. Coming from a family of builders, Jill understands the importance of urban development and sustainable land use.
With an Honours Bachelors of Science degree from Trent University, Jill worked in property management, and later, with the Crop Science division of Bayer Canada in agricultural research and data management. Jill’s background gives her unique insight into the real estate challenges faced by a community that is both urban and rural.
Jill loves the outdoors. In the winter she skis and snowboards. In the summers she enjoys cycling and camping. Jill also has a passion for dance, having grown up dancing competitively across the province and throughout her university career. She is looking forward to making a positive impact in the community and meeting the needs of each and every person she works for.
Are you a cat or a dog person?
I'm an animal person and have had many different pets, but if I had to choose then I'd have to say I am a cat person.
What is your favourite place you have travelled to?
Costa Rica! I spent 2 weeks volunteering at the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge during the mass nesting of the Olive Ridley sea turtle. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my life in one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Pura Vida!
