Before becoming a Realtor, Derek spent 15 years in the construction industry specializing in exterior renovations, working on everything from century homes to custom new builds. This hands-on experience gives his clients a distinct advantage when evaluating property value, identifying potential, and making confident investment decisions.

Derek’s passion for real estate began early, purchasing his first home at age 23 and his first investment property at 24. In 2015, he and his wife, Jennifer, purchased and transformed their dream property in Ariss, where they are now raising their four children. His personal experience as a homeowner, investor, and renovator gives him a practical understanding of what clients need at every stage of the buying and selling process.
