Taking care of people has always been second nature to me. Born in Hamilton, Ontario and the oldest of 4 children, responsibility, commitment and protectiveness are traits that developed early in life and remain as the keystones of my personality.

After attending the University of Guelph, where I majored in psychology, I continued to hone that passion to care for others into a rewarding career in social work, which I did for over a decade. Meanwhile I married the love of my life and raised 3 children, while fully renovating 2 houses and acting as the lead contractor on the build of our dream home, just outside of Fergus, Ontario.

As my husband’s electrical career progressed , I joined him in his business as a well respected electrical contractor, managing the administrative and financial responsibilities of the company for the past 21 years. A passionate interior design enthusiast, I am a graduate of the Sheridan College Interior Design program and also a Certified Staging Consultant having received my training from one the few certified staging academy’s in Canada. I am owner of the Black Barn Staging Company. When I am not working hard or spending time with family, my other passions include golf, yoga, gardening and travel.
