With integrity and passion, Taniya Simpson strives to make her clients feel like part of her family. It’s not about the transaction for her, it’s about the relationship.
Taniya has always loved real estate and the opportunities that it brings. She bought and sold her first home at age 21 and knew she wanted to learn more about the real estate industry but, at the time, didn’t know in what capacity. She dabbled in medical product sales, customer service and admin support for over 120 agents in the airline industry before taking the Real Estate Courses in 2011. Her past work experiences gave her a solid foundation.
Her real estate career and dedication to forming special relationships with all her clients have made her very successful. This is proven by the consistent sales awards she has received over the years. She loves helping her clients find their dream home and does that by getting to know them and what makes them happy. She was heard saying, “It’s not about the house. It’s really about the client and the service you provide to them.” She takes great pride in the relationships she builds, and because of those relationships, she keeps in touch with clients well after the transaction is done. Relationships and being able to form bonds and have roots have always been a high priority for Taniya. In 2005, Taniya moved her family to Guelph. Growing up, she didn’t have any deep roots in one particular place, and when deciding where to raise her own family, she wanted to make sure the city she chose was a place they could be happy in for a long time. A place where she and her family could form friendships, somewhere that felt safe, had good schools, and lots of outdoor spaces but also close to the GTA, airport and border. She found all those things, as well as a great sense of community, in Guelph.
She has a restless drive to ensure her client’s satisfaction, and she has a complete understanding of the process of selling and buying; her ability to negotiate comes from a place of experience, and she is able to foresee and solve problems before they arise, all while maintaining solid relationships with her clients and colleagues from the beginning through to the end and beyond.
When Taniya is not nurturing client relationships, she is most often found with her family. She loves being able to witness her kids experience new places and events. She enjoys yoga and is a self-proclaimed foodie and will always accept restaurant suggestions!
What do you love about being a REALTOR®?
I love helping my clients find their dream home. Taking my clients to the finish line and then still being in their lives after the home is sold gives me great stratification. I'm not a Wham Bham kinda girl, lol!! I take great pride in the relationships I've built and keep in touch with my clients well after the transaction in done.
If you could have any superpower what would it be?
I would like the super power to clone myself. A Taniya for Buyers, a Taniya for Sellers and a Taniya to go on vacation.
What do you value most in life?
I value my family, friends, health and well being.
